hughjass16 Posted March 2, 2005 Share Posted March 2, 2005 I just added a 512 stick to my rig a few months ago (2x256, 1x512). Since then, I had been getting random "memory referenced errors" when playing games like Half Life 2 and World of Warcraft. I initially ran memtest and got no errors. However, I found out about the windows memory test that microsoft released and ran that, first with all 3 sticks. I ran the complete tests, and sure enough, I got errors during the Strider38 (no cache) test, but got errors in no other tests. I then ran the test 1 stick at a time and the only time it errored again was with the stick of 512. I am requesting an RMA for the 512 stick.
