dearnheart
So turned on my system today and was greeted by white smoke. Upon inspection I have found the RGB controller had melted one cable. It is the 5v cable going to SATA power also the cable leading from the controller to a commander pro. I have found no exposed wires on either the PWM or RGB cables for the fans. No visible damage to the PWM connectors or ports on the commander pro or RGB controller. The commander pro and the RGB controller was attach to a 4 port SATA modular power cable connected to a Corsair RM650i power supply. There was no damage to the two SSDs attached to the same cable. No damage to the cable or port on the power supply. Any suggestions or ideas will be much appreciated. dearnheart
RMA ... as you've started. Not much else you can do. My only concern is that it is one of the fans or the commander pro caused it. Now I am worried about leaving my system up when I am not around.
