MrKGB Posted March 1, 2005 Share Posted March 1, 2005 I have a problem with my 2x512MB corsair twinx pc3700 on my Gigabyte k8ns ultra 939 board. (Bios ver. F5;vdimm +0.2; 3-4-4-4-8 1T) The problem is the memory won´t get above 200Mhz ? Is this a copatiblity problem ? I also tried it in singelchannel mode with one modul but i had the same problem. And I was suggesting you set the memory at DDR333 like you had the other modules. If that works then that would suggest a bios/MB problem. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
MrKGB Posted March 2, 2005 Author Share Posted March 2, 2005 Bios is ver. F5 its the newest on gigabyte page . 166Mhz works 200Mhz works but more then 200Mhz don´t work with the corsair ram. Our board has no support for DDR 2. DDR 2 is something totally different, not related in any way to the PC3700 hes using! DDR 2 has a different pin count and physically won't fit into a DDR 1 board.
