mike99
I have a pentium 4 3.0Gb with a pair of vs512mb400 memory sticks all on an Asus p5gd1 motherboard. Since new I have experienced random crashes while playing games and after reading advice on this forum carried out tests using memtest 86. One module tested with no faults after running for 1 hour, but the other module - in the same slot- returned 26 errors after only 10 mins of running the test. I had disabled legacy usb as advised on another thread. The bad module would not even start windows xp unless paired with the good one. I hope the fairly conclusive results warrant an RMA!!!
