marty4short Posted January 27, 2005 Share Posted January 27, 2005 I have a 256 stick of corsair xms3200 400 mhz that wont work I get boot disk failure everytime I try to boot. I have tryed different brands of memory and they seem to work fine no problems. I am using a asus a7n8x board with a amd barton 3200 processor. The model # for the memory is CMX256A-3200C2PT the numbers to the right of that are xms3202 v 1.1 0251042 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted January 27, 2005 Corsair Employee Share Posted January 27, 2005 Please try and load set up defaults and then set the following settings in the bios manually: CPU Freq: 200 MHz Memory Frequency: 100% Dim Voltage to 2.7 Volts Resulting Frequency: 200 MHz SDRAM CAS Latency: 2.5T SDRAM RAS to CAS Delay (tRCD): 3T SDRAM Row Precharge (tRP): 3T SDRAM Active to Precharge Delay (tRAS): 6T Then please test the module with http://www.memtest.org to make sure its stable!
