batman0485
Hi everyone, I have an Asus A8V Deluxe motherboard and two gigs of 3200-c2pro ram. The ram is in 512 sticks so i have 4 sticks of 512. When ever i install the second gig my computer wont boot. It just sits at a black screen and does nothing. The led light on the ram dont even flicker. Does anyone have any idea what could be going on. They only difference in the ram it that two sticks are v 1.0 and my two newest sticks are v 4.1. Am i out of luck on running two gigs if the versions of the ram are not the same. My motherboard will accept 4 gigs in dual channel mode but something is not working as on now. Any help would be great. Thanks Andy

Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted January 27, 2005 Corsair Employee Share Posted January 27, 2005 I am sorry, but with this MB you would need to have all of the module with the exact same part# and revision. Did you purchase all of these at the same time?
batman0485
No i did not buy the ram at the same time. I purchased the ram at two different times. Is there any type of program that corsair would allow me to trade in my unmatched pairs for two matched pairs. Thanks for your help
