CandyKid
Welcome to the forums, deini! Could you be a little more specific about what you've tried? What happens with both modules in channel 1? (Slots 1 & 2) What about both in channel 2? (Slot 3 & 4) What about 1 module in slot 2, 3, or 4? What are your memory settings in the BIOS? (CAS & latencies, voltages, etc) What's the rest of your system specifications? Have you tried running Memtest86+? PLUR C
deini
when both DIMMs are in channel 1. only one of them appears to be working. I get no response when they are inserted in channel 2, neither when I put one of them in 2,3 or 4 alone. I have an amd athlon 64 3200+ memory voltage is 2.70 memclock value - ddr400 CAS latency- 2.5 burst lenght- 8 bank interleaving- auto active to cmd- 2CLK to precharge- 5CLK precharge to active- 2CLK DRAM 1t timing- enabled. it only appears to be working ( though only halfway) while both are in slots 1&2 or one by itself in the first slot.and no response at all (no image on screen) if i try other ways to populate the slots. I have not tried memtest tho..
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 24, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 24, 2005 I would check that you have the latest bios instlled and then test the system again. If you still have the problem, then we can try and replace the modules if you like! Please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it!
