3MaJ
Hello, I've been using H100i v2 for 3 months. Everything was working fine (temps in the 40-s Celsius range). This morning, all of the sudden, the LED logo turned red (it had been white all the time before). Resetting the machine gave me CPU over temp message by BIOS. The pump is connected to AIO header, QFan control has been disabled from the start. I am not using any control software, and the pump is not connected to USB 2.0 header (my mini-ITX board doesn't have one). Fans seem to be spinning properly. Does this mean the pump is dead? red-ray
I am not using any control software Does this mean the pump is dead? I would need to know the H100iV2 pump speed and H100iV2 temperature to make a sensible guess, but you can't provide this. I feel it's silly not to use software to monitor the cooler and advice you should. All I can suggest is you request an RMA via https://corsair.secure.force.com/home/home.jsp and see what they say. Remember to upload the original invoice.
snapper69
If your motherboard doesn't have any usb headers, you can use a usb/micro usb cable, route it through to the rear of your case and plug it into an external usb port.
red-ray
you can use a usb/micro usb cable. Given the H100iV2 has a mini-USB connection how would this help? He would need to use a USB-A to mini-USB cable such as http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/171813801955
