EIFY
Hello, I have just replaced the core of my computer as Athlon 64 3000+ & Gigabyte K8NSNXP-939 & Corsair VS1GB400C3. Everything works fine except that BIOS shows there is only 256 MB of RAM on my computer. Anyone has any ideas what's going on here? My first guess is a faulty module, but I am not sure..... Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted December 15, 2004 Corsair Employees Share Posted December 15, 2004 Please test the modules one at a time with http://www.memtest.org and if you can I would test them on another MB. In addition, if you have a new 90nm CPU you may need to have a newer bios version. But testing the modules in another system will help to isolate that.
