cptcaracho
Hi all, got a little problem here. I am just building a watercooled system in my 760T. Frontside 280mm Slim Rad, top 360mm. Now i have an EK D5 X Res 140 pump and I cant seem to find a way to mount it. Any ideas? Cheers!
Protocol48
I've seen 3rd party and custom cooler tanks mounted in the upper 5-1/4 drive bay, but yours may be too big. If your front rad is not in the way, you could mount it on the top of the front bottom drive cage or the side of the drive cage. Better yet is to remove the rear drive cage and mount it on the bottom of the case. You could also move the front drive cage (or both) up and secure it to the 5-1/4 drive bay, leaving the bottom of the case very open for construction. cptcaracho
Well, this one is a fixed comco, reservoir directly connected to the D5 pump. I just dont have any tools around to build myself a mount of any kind... I guess it will have to go on the back panel (plate where the mainbard sits on) but it doesnt quite fit... Ahtlon
Well, you could use double side tape to fix the pump and res on the bottom of the case, I saw a few people did that with there res and pump. If you look at youtube and search for fixing pump + res in 760t or 750D, you will find some solutions.
