c-attack
There is usually a picture of the PSU specific fan curve in the manual or even on the side of the product box. The trigger is a combination of power draw (watts) and temperature with set levels for both. You may not have been drawing enough power to trigger the fan and it was not at a critical temperature either. You can certainly set your own with an earlier ramp up. tomcoleman
I just want to know that it’s setup correctly happy to leave on default but if default is blank it would be a risk is there anyway of knowing ??
Corsair Employee Corsair Notepad Posted October 10, 2019 Corsair Employee Share Posted October 10, 2019 The default fan mode is a Zero RPM mode and the fan will only kick on when it is necessary to cool the power supply. 44c is definitely within safe operating temperature where it doesn't need to be actively cooled.
