XLR8
Need advise on a aio cooler for my 9900k. Started looking at the corsair 240, 280 and 360 aio coolers. But after looking at them I got a bit confused at what I needed. I'm thinking the ones that say uses icue must use that software and NOT hook up directly to my cpu fan header on the motherboard. I have read that the icue software is kind of buggy. So if a few of the experts here could advise me on what to get, I would be very thankful. DevBiker
I would go with a 280 or 360 - assuming that your case can fit it. So that's an H115 or H150. Any of the Corsair variations will be good. iCUE is like all software - it does have its issues. Keep in mind that the posts you see are from people that do have problems - you won't see posts from very many people where it's working just fine. And that's simply because people don't post when it's working fine. Personally, I have iCUE running on 5 different systems without issue. That includes 3 of them with different AIOs. c-attack
Both of the above coolers also have device memory that will save your fan profile and lighting. You have the option of setting both, then quitting the software. It is only necessary to launch it if you want to make a change.
