noslack
I have a Gigabyte G1 Sniper 3 board running Ivy Bridge, I haven't built it yet, but I ordered Corsair memory, CMZ32GX3M4X1866C10R, but the Memory list on Gigabyte says that that number is fine but they don't list the R at the end, and from what I could find on the site, it means retail, but I ordered it anyway, but it is expensive and I just want to make sure. Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted June 25, 2012 Corsair Employee Share Posted June 25, 2012 The "R" is just an indicator of the modules Color and all of them if they are the same basic part number would be the same memory only a different color heat spreader.
