Xaero
Hello. I have installed a brand new Corsair Commander Pro in a whole new system build. I have 5 x QL120 fans connected to the commander. Everything "works", but the RPM on port 1 is always 10-20% higher than the other fan ports. I have swapped the fans around to different ports on the commander, just to find out if it was the fan motor, but it is the same result, always port #1 regardless of what fan is on that port, and regardless of custom profile or one of the presets. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a fix for it, or is my Commander broken? There always seem to be some sort of issue with Corsair products.. Chris1987
I had the same problem. I had the commander force the software and restarted icue then everything went but still, in contrast to the other four fans, I had ten rpm difference on port one
Xaero
Yeah, I think I am done with buying Corsair product. Quality seems questionable. I have had problems with almost all their products I bought the last couple of years.
c-attack
You set fan #1 to 1000 rpm fixed and it runs 1200 rpm instead?
Xaero
Port #1 does whatever it wants, if I set 1000 RPM fixed, it runs at 1400...
c-attack
That sounds more like the more often reported "glitched fan #1" problem. Try force updating the firmware. If that does not work. try: 1) Force quit iCUE 2) open up C:Users/(name)/App Data (hidden)/Roaming/Corsair/CUE/Cooling 3) cut/paste that config file to the desktop (those are the curves) 4) Relaunch iCUE and it will re-create a new config file (your previous curves will be gone). See if it behaves. If it does not work and you want you old curves back, drop the config file you pasted to the desktop back into the cooling folder and relaunch iCUE again. Xaero
Thanks for your effort c-attack. I ran "force firmware update" and that worked! This shouldn't happen on a brand new product.
