Fan RPM higher on one Commander port

Hello. I have installed a brand new Corsair Commander Pro in a whole new system build. I have 5 x QL120 fans connected to the commander. Everything "works", but the RPM on port 1 is always 10-20% higher than the other fan ports. I have swapped the fans around to different ports on the commander, just to find out if it was the fan motor, but it is the same result, always port #1 regardless of what fan is on that port, and regardless of custom profile or one of the presets. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a fix for it, or is my Commander broken?

There always seem to be some sort of issue with Corsair products..

That sounds more like the more often reported "glitched fan #1" problem. Try force updating the firmware. If that does not work. try:

1) Force quit iCUE

2) open up C:Users/(name)/App Data (hidden)/Roaming/Corsair/CUE/Cooling

3) cut/paste that config file to the desktop (those are the curves)

4) Relaunch iCUE and it will re-create a new config file (your previous curves will be gone). See if it behaves.

If it does not work and you want you old curves back, drop the config file you pasted to the desktop back into the cooling folder and relaunch iCUE again.
