Odaik
How come? I would have thought that considering both units have the same power ratings, the cables would also have the same maximum current ratings.
Wired
Physically different ends on the cables.
Yellowbeard
How come? I would have thought that considering both units have the same power ratings, the cables would also have the same maximum current ratings. Current rating is not applicable. As noted, the cables are terminated differently. If by some chance you managed to intermingle the cables, it's highly probable that you would damage some equipment. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO MIX THEM. ::pirate::
Odaik
Fair enough. :p: But why is it Corsair use different connectors on different units? It would seem to be much simpler just to have one standard for similar rated units.
Wired
Most likely because they were designed at different times and made by different OEM / ODMs.
