sirhamlet
Why the name? Don't know except my passion for the bike. This build is for fun only no work allowed on the rig. Games and to see what she can do in OC. It was this website that gave me the bug to do a water build. I've been trolling around for a little over 6 months and been very impressed with the builds here. So... Let see what happens. Haven't had a chance to see what 3 gaming monitors I'd like to go with. Planning on doing a little research in the next week or two. Grocery List: -Corsair 800D move to a 900D -Corsair AX1200i -Corsair Link Cooling and Light Kit- 4 Cooling Nodes -2 Lighting Nodes -Corsair 22 SP120 PWMs -Corsair Dominator Plantinum 16gb -Corsair Vengence keyboard K95 mouse M95 -Asus Maximus V Extreme -3770K -Samsung 840 Pro 128 -Plextor mSATA 64gb -Three Asus GTX680 Top -BitsPower -EK Dual D5 Top CSQ -EK motherboard block -Ek Older Supreme CPU Block -EK 3 VGA Full Blocks -Mayhem Red I have about 90% of the hardware. Should be adding pics this weekend. Looking forward to start. Maybe tonight http://imageshack.us/a/img31/6821/tfx.JPG[/img]
sirhamlet
The first pic is the platform on which the EK D5 Dual Top CSQ will sit on. Something about the reflective properties in the paint gives it a different color But actually matches the flat black inside the 900D. Second pic has the Res and D5 Dual top on the platform. sirhamlet
Waiting for more fittings through FrozenCPU. My plan is only horizontal and vertical tube runs. I did a few tube bends but I preferred the fittings for the turns. My only reluctance y with the fittings is flow resistance. We'll see what happens. My other issue is the weight on the C47 fittings with the long tube runs. Test will show if this holds or not. I'm in the process of trying to come up with an idea for a support on one or two of the tube runs. One of the photos shows blue tape holding up one of the runs and that's about where I'd like to see some type of support. I have one more ASUS GTX680 Top water block to get. Right now there's a blank plate that covers my EK Triple Parallel Bridge. I also looking for 4 more of the sp120 PWM.
sirhamlet
So...I had purchased the Corsair Link Kit which included the lighting and cooling nodes. I thought I could run PWM 4 way splitters to each port on the cooling node and still be able to control the fans. This isn't the case each port can only handle one fan. So I purchased 3 more cooling nodes and 1 more lighting node. Hopefully I can get this mess cleaned up.

sirhamlet
I think I have some pics of the tray before I installed. Should give you an idea on how I approached it. At the same time I have a list of items used.

sirhamlet
http://imageshack.us/a/img823/5014/6l24.jpg[/img] Trying to show how I decieded to use the lighting nodes. 4 light strips in front and one below. Looks better in person the camera I was using wasn't giving it justice. Looks like I over did it with the light strips but the picture is deceiving. sirhamlet
Just got back from a business trip and I was pleasantly surprised to see the kudos. Thank you very much! Its a build that took a bit of time but I enjoyed every minute of it. If it wasn't for the forum I wouldn't have been able to succeed as much of the inspirations came from other forum members. POORNUBE
Is this for sale? If not, would you like to build another? I'm looking for a slightly different build. Please contact me if you're interested. I'm in SoCal (Orange County) Thanks!
