H4RRY
Hi, this is my first post :S Anyway today I installed my new H60 and stupidly took the CPU block off my CPU after creating a seal via thermal material/paste to check everything was ok. The thermal paste became slightly smeared on the CPU. My question is will the contact between the CPU and the cooler be affected by my replacement of the cooling block and should I reapply thermal paste? Thanks
Toasted
Reapply the thermal paste. As soon as the block is removed you will have to clean it off and replace it.
H4RRY
Ok what's the best value thermal paste to use? I don't have loads to spend on this. Thanks for the quick reply :)
ghost623
Artic Silver has always been good to me. It should run you less than 10$
