Bazooly
Hello there Forum! I just bought the corsair vengeance 1500 and i absolutely love it! They are the best headset i have ever tried out, and i have tried out a pritty big number of headsets. Now to the problem/question, i have red fans in my computer, red keyboard, red mouse, red mousepad and so on, and i would like to paint a little bit of red on the corsair vengeance 1500. So i was wondering if u can remove the little blue "ring" around the earcups of the headset, or if that is impossible. I agree, its not a big detail, but i think it would look gr8 with my other gear. Really thankfull for answers. Best regards Bazooly.
Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted August 24, 2012 Corsair Employee Share Posted August 24, 2012 You can remove the ear pads but I don't think you can remove anything else with out Voiding the warranty.
overheatedmud
You probably could remove the ring but it would void your warranty and could break the headset. I would just remove the pads and tape off the areas around the ring. I still think this would void your warranty though.
Toasted
You can only remove the earpads to replace or clean them. Disassembling the headset will void the warranty.
bogroll
Sorry pal, but you have way, way, way,way,way.... waay too much time on your hands. Doing this will void the warranty on your brain.
