Stevemona
Hi, I've just set up an RMA for my matched memory pack CMX16GX3M4A1333C9 due to one of the memory chips failing. My question is do I really need to send all 4 chips back as this would leave me without a working system until the replacement arrives or can I just send the single defective chip? Thanks, Steve
peanutz94
Yes, you need to send in all the sticks. That way you get a matched set back. Adding just one unmatched stick to an otherwise matched kit can cause stability issues. Just call CS by phone and ask about an advanced RMA. That way they will send you your new kit before you have to send the old ones back in and that will keep you running.
