AirportsMgr
Could you please help me? I am new and not sure how to start a new thread regarding my CMZ16GX3M4X1600C9 4x4 set of Vengeance Ram memory I purchased from Amazon and received yesterday. I installed the chips tonight in my brand new computer (ASUS sabertooth X79 MB) and fired it up, then went to BIOS and saw that it said I had 16 gb of 1333 ram instead of 1600 RAM. Thank you! Yellowbeard
You have to manually set the memory frequency to 1600 as 1600 is OCing. Enable the XMP profile and you'll be good.
AirportsMgr
Okay, how do you do that? Is it a BIOS setting?
peanutz94
Okay, how do you do that? Is it a BIOS setting? Yes it is a BIOS setting. It should be covered in your manual and where to find it. :)
