gumbojet
Hello, I'm fairly new to PC building and have just build my first PC. (Compatibility was verified on PC parts picker - > https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/xZ2dWD ) Everything worked fine until I installed the Premium Individually Sleeved PSU Cable Kit Starter Package, Type 4 (Generation 3). (https://www.corsair.com/uk/en/ACC-Series/ACC-Color/Pin-Out/premium-individually-sleeved-psu-cable-kit-starter-package-type-4-generation-3-config/p/CP-8920150) Now my PC doesn't turn on. Is there any compatibility problems? I have used a Multimeter and found that the pins on one of the Corsair PSU looms have been put in plastic clip the opposite way to the ones received with the power supply. Is this just because I bought the wrong ones or have they been manufactured incorrectly. I only ask on this forum because my motherboard has stopped working and had to buy a new one, oops :( (Sorry if this isn't the place to ask) Thanks, Ben

DevBiker
You put Corsair cables on a Thermaltake PSU. Be glad that nothing melted or smoked.
