Dreana
I'm sorry for my English. I have a problem with my Asus P6TD and 3x2gb TR3X6G1600C7D memory kit. After memory installation BIOS and Windows shows all 6 gigs. But if I switch off the computer and after a while turn it on, BIOS and Win shows only 4gb. If I remove memory modules then install it again and start PC, all 6 gigs, but after turning off/on again 4 gb. What wrong? Motherboard and memory absolutely new, not O.C. Maybe I need "to check the CPU is seated properly and there are no bent or deformed pins" ? But why system sometimes shows correct memory amount? Dreana
=( I have checked up all three memory modules installed simultaneously and one at a time. With 3 modules problem not disappear, one memory module again fail. And once the system was not started with one of memory modules - the LED on the matherboard near the memory slots did not work. Other two modules work and started good. What does it mean? Faulty memory module?
