stubzor
I just built my system about 2 days ago and found that in the bios my cpu reads 52c. This seems kind of high. I have not overclocked and am running a push pull setup with a dust filter installed next to the frist fan. I read the sticky about high temps and the h50 and am sure that i have installed it correctly. My question: is the dust filter blocking too much airflow and causing high temps (51-53 c in the bios), or is there another problem. By the way my house is at 67f or 19c Thanks
strife1013
I would try taking out the dust filter and seeing what your temps are than. Use the process of elimination method. Also try using canned air to clean out your computer if you haven't done so in awhile.
jrpandie
Temps in bios are run at full speed... take that into consideration ! If you want to measure idle temps go into windows and use eg coretemp or Realtemp
