Toasted
If Corsair does not have a replacement Force 3 drive. They will tell you which SSD they will send to you through your ticket.
mondenath
No i am from India and here local service center decides the replacement and they do just by matching the model. As i came to know it was LS which is close to the model number but little slower than force 3.
mondenath
can you some one pls let me know if GS series is gud alternative. Is that still sanforce with no compressible data support. I know GT is one with synchronous nand flash.
Corsair Employee Corsair James Posted November 21, 2014 Corsair Employee Share Posted November 21, 2014 The Force GS uses Toggle NAND but still uses a sandforce controller as the Force GT.
mondenath
Toggle nand is fine is that synchronous or asynchronous
mondenath
you mean oggle-Mode MLC NAND which is asynchronous but boost in performance when compared to norman asynchronous nand.
mondenath
http://http//images.anandtech.com/graphs/graph6107/50866.png as per the above image toggle nand exceed the performances of the gt is that true
mondenath
Any one let me know the actual in GS or LS is better.
Corsair Employee Corsair James Posted November 26, 2014 Corsair Employee Share Posted November 26, 2014 Toggle NAND is what Force LS uses whereas your Force 3 uses asynchronous NAND. Both are MLC which I think is where your confusion stems from. Force LS is going to be your direct replacement since Force 3 is obsolete.
