user2017
I have been getting BSOD or just hangs/resets for no apparent reason... Being the weather is hot of late I decided to look at my temps, according to HWMonitor CPUID (probably out-of-date) my PSU is hitting 96°C  I was informed via Google that AUXTIN was the PSU temp sensor... I presume that's quite hot, naturally I cleaned my PC for any dust and my PSU seems to running at about 39°C, but is still spiking at up to 78°C Can someone inform me as to whether this is normal or my PSU is on the fritz...? red-ray
according to HWMonitor CPUID my PSU is hitting 96°C  The CX430 PSU does not report it's temperature so HWM can't be reporting it. It's quite common for monitoring programs to report silly temperatures (see http://forum.corsair.com/forums/showthread.php?p=787963) and for anyone to sensibly comment you need to post screen shots and specify which version of HWM you are using. Were you to do as I specified in http://forum.corsair.com/forums/showthread.php?p=788225 I could comment further.
red-ray
I was informed via Google that AUXTIN was the PSU temp sensor... As I specified before the CX430 does not report it's temperature and I suspect Google is misleading you. You should have linked to where you read this, but as you have failed to then I can't comment further. Looking at http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/hwmonitor.html the latest HWM is 1.30 so using and posting 1.26 screen shots is silly, update to 1.30 :asskick: BTW if you edit the post rather then adding a new post then it's likely I won't notice.
