Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted July 23, 2010 Corsair Employee Share Posted July 23, 2010 Please go to BIOS setup and under power management make sure its set to S1 and S3 and see if that will solve that problem. If not please use the link on the left and request an RMA.
Heintz.G
Thanks for the reply, s1-s3 auto set in bios, the problem is not from wakeing up. As my pc is never put in sleep mode, just random rebooting. Cheers Heintz.G
Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted July 23, 2010 Corsair Employee Share Posted July 23, 2010 Can you image the SSD to another HDD and see if it has the same problem? And can you image the SSD to a spinning hdd just to test?
Heintz.G
I have imaged to spining disk, system has not been switched off and has not rebooted. Cheers Heintz.G
Heintz.G
Ok has ben up for a couple of days now still no problems, with the old sam**** 1TB At a guess, i would say it has something to do with firmware on the Sand Force controler But that's only my opinion Cheers Heintz.G
dikai_yang
This is driving me (us?) crazy! But man yours is even worse. Looking at your log yours happens even more frequently than mine. At least my system seems stable when I'm using it and random restarts only after I go to sleep and leave the computer on overnight.
Heintz.G
@ dikai yang Can't even use it as a paper weight, as it's so light. LOL.
Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted July 26, 2010 Corsair Employee Share Posted July 26, 2010 We are looking into the issue, but I would suggest turning off suspend to Ram and just use suspend to disk for the time being and make sure Power management is set to S1 and S3 in the MB BIOS. Heintz.G
As i typed before S1-S3 set in bios, all disks set to never sleep or hibernate, pc gets switched on in the morning and off at night. I have just taken out the 1TB and put the ssd back in, i'll turn off autoboot and see what BSOD has to say.

biatche
Is the SSD your system drive? Should BSOD if it is the system drive. I've seen this happen in the old days when mechanical drives were in failing state. Windows would become very unresponsive if any at all.
Heintz.G
Yes it's my system drive, i know it should BSOD. That's what i was thinking aswell, CrystalDiskInfo states all is good. I have put my Samsung 1TB back in, atleast no reboots. Wait and see what solution Corsair come up with.
