rubberducky Posted March 13, 2004 Share Posted March 13, 2004 Ram Guy, I've just ordered new an Asus K8V Deluxe, Athalon 64 3400+ and two CMX512 - 3200C2PRO and would like some advice on the memory settings for this combination. I have a few specific questions that will help clarify my confusion: * Do I need to change to a 2.7 TIA * Is 2-3-3-6 the right CAS settings for this motherboard? * I've read in your documents that you rate the memory for 2.5-3-3-6, Is this correct? Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted March 15, 2004 Corsair Employee Share Posted March 15, 2004 You should use Twinx1024-3200C2Pro for Cass 2-3-3-6 or Twinx1024-3200LLPro for Cass 2-3-2-6. However for XMS3200LL you do not need to set the timings, but I would set the Dim Voltage to 2.7 Volts and use slots 1-3. And for XMS3200C2 you will need to set the timings manually to: Cass Latency 2.0 TRCD 3 TRP - 3 TRAS - 6 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
