Netwoyer
Hi All, I'm one of the fortunate few that purchase a new Corsair One Pro with the PCIe Fail issue. Just wanted to let everyone know, not to worry. I've been communicating with tech support and they have been very nice to me. I sent my Corsair One back to Fremont, Ca. to have them repair it, they have informed me that the PCI cable causing the issue has been replaced and I will be receiving my Corsair One shortly. Just wanted to let everyone know that has this issue not worry they have a fix. Thank you Corsair for repairing and getting my system back to me so quickly. Netwoyer
Just wanted to leave an update to let everyone know how everything came out. My Corsair One Pro is now connected and I went in the BIOS and set the PEG0 to AUTO and everything is working flawlessly.
Corsair Employee Corsair Dustin Posted September 8, 2017 Corsair Employee Share Posted September 8, 2017 Note that the "AUTO" setting can cause instability. It's best to set it to "Gen 2."
JanusZeal
Note that the "AUTO" setting can cause instability. It's best to set it to "Gen 2." Hello, I have the GTX1080 version. My computer has not shown any problems but should I also set mine to Gen 2 as well(for future reliability)?
Corsair Employee Corsair Dustin Posted September 11, 2017 Corsair Employee Share Posted September 11, 2017 If you haven't had any problems yet it's extremely unlikely you will. That said, it's entirely up to you; if you'd feel better you're welcome to set it to Gen 2 and forget it.
