Vindicator1951
Greetings. Starting a new build using a 750D case. When I attempt to mount a 4TB Seagate Ironwolf HDD into the caddy, the caddy's levers butt up against the HDD and the caddy will not insert into the cage completely. The thumb levers protrude out and I cannot fit the clear lid onto the case. I tried a forceful fit and snapped one of the levers. Then the drive clicked into place. Has anyone found a problem with drivers being too large for the caddy? Is there a workaround? I cannot seem to nudge the nested pins in some effort to gain even an 1/8 inch room forward for the HDD. Corsair Employee Corsair Caliente Posted November 15, 2019 Corsair Employee Share Posted November 15, 2019 Judging from the dimensions the drive is your standard 3.5 format drive so there shouldn't be any reason why it won't fit properly in tray. Do you have pictures of your issue?
jon96789
The drive's thumb levers is where the front of the hard drive goes, i.e. the rear ports are on the other side...
