Madplmber Posted October 7, 2008 Share Posted October 7, 2008 I can run stable with 2 sticks but when i go to 4 it wont start when cold if i remove a stick it starts . shut it down and add the 4th it starts and runs but if you shut it down for awhile it wont start . I saw a post on these forums where you told someone to turn down their speed from 800 to 667and you gave them the sttings for thier bios . I was going to use those but thought they may be different because i have a different cpu. Could you give me the settings for mine Im at my wits end this started with me jusat trying to add ram in xp. thanx for any help Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted October 7, 2008 Corsair Employee Share Posted October 7, 2008 With 4 modules I would suggest setting the memory frequency at DDR667 and set the memory Voltage to 2.1 Volts and set the NB/MCH/SPP Voltage to +.2 Volts as well and test the system with http://www.memtest.org. In addition, with some MB's (Mostly ASUS) you have to disable legacy USB in the bios when running any memory test. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
