carnagerover Posted October 28, 2012 Share Posted October 28, 2012 Hi all, I just wondered if a WEI score of 8.0 on a fresh install of windows 8 sounds right for a Corsair Force GT 60GB SSD. It is the lowest score on the WEI, not sure if I should have done a proper eraze on the SSD prior to the install of windows? Any Ideas? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

carnagerover Posted October 29, 2012 Author Share Posted October 29, 2012 Managed to find an old benchmark I did after I put the latest firmware on a fresh install of windows 7, seems I have lost some performance compared to then, would this come back in the future if I did a secure erase? helmutcheese Posted October 31, 2012 Share Posted October 31, 2012 The scores may be BS but its still a guide and I went from 8.1 to 8.0 after updating my Force GT to latest firmware on a week old install of Win 8.
