EBT34 Posted August 28, 2006 Share Posted August 28, 2006 Hello i bought Asus P5B Motherboard and Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 today but i haven't decide which Corsair memory to buy yet, i strongly need your advice, in my country i have 3 memory options available currently, these are, CM2X1024-6400C4 Twin2X1024-5400C4 (http://www.dijitaltrend.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&manufacturers_id=39&products_id=1138 ) VS1GB667D2 Which of these will you recommend? Also in P5B's manual its written due to the chipset limitation, DDR2-800 memories with CL=4 will be downgraded to run at DDR2-667 by default setting. According to this can't i use DDR2-800 CL4 memories with this mainboard? I want to buy CM2X1024-6400C4 and now i am confused. Many thanx again.
