That guy Ray
This is a white background with a simple rainbow scan line every 9 seconds so it has some animation. As you type, keys get redder. Darker colors=more use (starts pink, gets darker red as you press the key more often). As you leave the keys, they slowly move through the rainbow (red/orange/yellow/green/blue/purple). The net effect is that you get a keyboard that clearly shows the most used keys (by color intensity), and recently used keys (by the actual color). It takes about 5 minutes to go through the full scan, which is what I found to work best. The pictures below were taken while typing this post, as a real world example of how it looks in use. Heavier use http://i200.photobucket.com/albums/aa316/raytard6969/20150201_122931.jpg Lighter use (beginning of writing) http://i200.photobucket.com/albums/aa316/raytard6969/20150201_122754.jpg The scanline mid-keyboard http://i200.photobucket.com/albums/aa316/raytard6969/20150201_122802.jpg The upload tool is saying "Database Error" when I upload the file, so here's an alternate while I wait for that to come back up: http://s000.tinyupload.com/index.php?file_id=90361370203785894655
Preshaone1
this is really nice. added it to my ultimate rainbow and adjusted it so that all the keys are Initially black, then when you type the heatmap will be activated but the time of it is 4 seconds rather than 5 mins. thanks
