Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted May 30, 2012 Corsair Employee Share Posted May 30, 2012 The memory will run at 1600 with XMP enabled (only for Intel) but since you are on an AMD system, you’ll need to manually change the settings. I recommend checking your manual or contacting the motherboard manufacturer if you are unsure on how to proceed. You may also experience stability issues at 1600mhz as your CPU has native support only for 1333. We have found that unlike Intel, AMD processors have very little headroom when it comes to over clocking beyond the native speed except on the 8120 and 8150 FX processors.
