c-attack Posted November 24, 2019 Share Posted November 24, 2019 Probably not unless your intention is to run ultra low fan speeds. At 300W you can probably take another 2-3C off your temps, but with an 8700K using 100-150W at most that's going to be halved at best. The one area where it might be helpful is if you prefer to keep the fans under 1000 rpm. However, you must then balance the sound level at those speeds vs the increases noise from 4 fans vs 2.
