Jordan_
Finally I was able to fix it! I think somehow updating the firmware is the reason and the only way fix it was by using Corsair ssd toolbox and do Secure Wipe DO NOT waste your time with corsair support THEY ARE SO DUMP one of them asked me about my computer spec and he was like let me look into it i think its not compatible and the other one insisted it's the motherboard

Fast forward one or two weeks and now the write speed are not what they should be. I don't think a Secure Wipe is an acceptable solution and I expect Corsair to release a new firmware or give us an explanation at least.

Corsair Employee Corsair Kevin Posted August 23, 2019 Corsair Employee Share Posted August 23, 2019 Hm, okay. I was wondering if it was Sophos or something. I've personally had experiences where it would scan outside of the designated window and bog down systems. Have you (and anyone else in here) installed the most up to date chipset drivers? Corsair Employee Corsair Kevin Posted August 23, 2019 Corsair Employee Share Posted August 23, 2019 Hi Matriq, there's a new firmware for the MP600 through our SSD toolbox. However, you'll need to update the toolbox to 1.2.5.7 for this to be applied. Can you try this, then run benchmarks again and share your results? Thank you! blkstar73
Hi, i have the same problem with MP600 1TB Firmware: EGFM11.1 Read speed is ok but write speed is 1000 mb/s. I have done several bench in the past days and the write speed was ok around 4300 mb/s , now for the second time in 2 weeks without any change in my configuration the speed is gone back to 1000 mb/s. I tryed to install also a clean Windows 10 on another ssd ad then bench the MP600 as secondary drive but nothing changed , write speed capped between 900-1000 mb/s. I want to try to update the firmware of the MP600 but i can't find the ssd toolbox 1.2.5.7 version , on the download page i can find only 1.2.5.5 that i have installed. System specs AMD 3800x Asus ROG x570 Crosshair VIII Hero (Wi-Fi) with latest bios and chipset drivers G.Skilll Tridentz RGB 16gb 3600 Mhz Please help! blkstar73
I have un update on the problem. In these days i was trying another m.2 ssd pci 4.0 (Gigabyte Aorus 1 TB). I cloned the O.S. from the Corsair ssd to the Gigabyte and with the same windows 10 installation , i have no problem with the Gigabyte Drive (speed around 5000 mb/s read 4350 mb/s write). Then i quick format the MP600 and the speed return in normal range without even restarting the pc.... I cloned back the system from Gigabyte to MP600 and the benchmark return to only 1000 mb/s in write. Probably could be a problem that happens after writing some amount of data on the MP600 (my drive is full at around 60%).
Rimc_LT
Speed degradation over written data in drive is corsair problem not ours we brought disk for speed it was specified not 4 times slower. Every other makers of nwme pcie4 drives use same Phison PS5016-E16 controller dont have this problem.
