MP600 1 TB is very slow!

Recommended Posts

I have the same issue here with my MP600 Core 1 To (tests 5, size 1GiB, storage 21%):

Read Q8T1 4725MB/s

Write Q8T1: 2062MB/s

I also tried to format the disk with the SSD corsair tool, storage 0%, still arround 2000MB/s

I tested it with storage at 75% and I was at 300MB/s. At 85% I was arround 130MB/s

Config:

Intel Core i5-12600K 3.7 GHz

ASRock Z690 Phantom Gaming 4 ATX

Corsair MP600 Core 1 TB M.2-2280 NVME

Firmware: EGFM52.5

what is going on?

it look like the issue was the motherboard heatsink, I had removed the pre-installed one to use the motherboard one

I reinstalled the original heatsink and the speed are back to what it should be, above 1.5gb/sec

When I bought this SSD was fantastic almost 5GB Write and 5G read, now, is not even 2GB.
I'm using Windows 11, and it had some bugs with SSD speeds, I'm using Windows 11 22H2 (Moment 3) (22621.1778), and I know that when SSDs are full they get slow, But mine is not that full and is at 1.5GB write.

Tried to update firmware, but the software says that is updated already.
Still very disappointed at Corsair SSD, It's just price! A Kingston if I bought would be cheaper, I paid R$ 2k one year ago.

Did the trim, on all partitions, shutdown, and booted again, got about 300-500MB more.

Any solutions to get speed back, other then formatting?
