No1important
Just purchased a Gateway GM5474. It has 2 gigs of ram installed and I purchased 2 gig of Corsair VS1GB667D2 ram to bring it up to 4 gig (which is the max the motherboard is supposed to be able to handle). Being a newer model, it doesen't show up in the compability utility. Now, I played around with it a little and here is what I saw. - 3 gigs installed (2 original and 1 corsair in first open slot) - It shows up as 3070 MB - 3 gigs installed (2 original and 1 corsair in second open slot) - it shows up as 3070 MB - 3 gigs installed (2 original and other corsair in either open slot) - it shows up as 3070 MB - all 4 gigs installed - shows up as only 3582 MB Any help is appreciated NI
