  1. Went for a completely different solution for the issue.
  2. Unless Newegg and other known sites can sell it for the same price, no.
  3. If you only use stored hardware profiles you could disable iCue and it's services or completely uninstall it, the fans and strips can be hardcoded too? iCue will use the default software profile over what you have onboard when it runs. Also: powercfg -h off Do not use hibernate nor sleep unless you want to have issues.
  4. You do know that the PBT dual shots are way more durable, like there is no paint that peels off? Kind of the reason to buy an XT model over the regular to begin with.
  5. What ambient temperatures do you have when it gets hot? :o
  6. There is really nothing to hate about the mouse except from Corsair using low quality switches, in fact, the M65 shape is what fits best in my palm. Using a G602 now though, since getting Japanese Omron switches currently adds way to high shipping costs, caused by COVID-19 they claim. I only use Corsairs RGB to highlight keys on my keyboard, so all stored in the hardware without the need to have iCue nor it's services running at all.
  7. https://www.corsair.com/eu/en//Categories/Products/Accessories-%7C-Parts/pbt-config/p/CH-9000235-WW There you go, just had to switch to the EU shop. Got the caps myself, pretty happy with them. I do recommend getting some silicon o-rings and add one or two to each cap, try with a normal letter key first. Also, do NOT try to remove space, shift and others with stabilizers after mounting, you will break the plastic stabilizer by doing so, these caps sit like a rock, you will also notice it does require a bit of force to install them.
  8. Case of the switches internals going out of alignment. Seen some new mice from other brands facing the exact same issue when containing the same switches, so issue is probably at the plant where they manufactured them, what ever that is QC or worn out equipment is hard to say. As for products from China, in some areas quality has gone trough the roof, and the M65 Elite is also ok except for it's switches which most likely come from a different factory than the rest.
  9. Ask to get those 20€ refunded. If they refuse file a claim https://europa.eu/youreurope/citizens/consumers/consumers-dispute-resolution/formal-legal-actions/index_en.htm
  10. Ran into the issue on my K95P, the plastic on the spacebar cap where oval instead of round, weak mold issue. I did fill an RMA and a new cap has been on it's way for... 2 months now, guess it will never arrive. Regardless, got PBT caps now with a silicon dampener added on each, had to push really hard to mount them, never going to remove them since a removal can break the stabilizers, that is how well those sit besides that they won't wear out like the painted keycaps. K95 keycaps go to my old K70, since the paint on it's keycaps started to peel off. Once my keyboard dies I will get something top notch quality from another brand which includes PBT caps, proper rollover but probably skipping the RGB part.
  11. Sounds like someone at support forgot to do their homework... If you have a K55 keyboard: 1. Unplug your keyboard. 2. Hold down the FN and F4 keys and plug your keyboard back into your computer. 3. Release the FN and F4 keys after 10 seconds. The keyboard should flash at this point. 4. Open iCUE and update the firmware of your keyboard. 5. Ignore any incompatibility warnings that pop up.

  13. Sounds like the issue I had with an older motherboard. Using the USB 2.0 ports for mouse and keyboard and 3.0 for everything else solved it. As for your second issue. If possible, save the profiles to the internal memory of the mouse and remove iCUE completely, guess you can have 2-3 profiles on it and all mapped keys can be bound in each games config anyway.
  14. Make hardware profiles suiting your needs and uninstall iCUE afterwards, problem solved. I know this is limited to how many you can store on the device, but that is what I did after getting fed up with how iCUE's background services behave even when the program itself isn't loaded.
  15. It's the contact inside the micro switches. Either RMA, clean them and level the contact plate, or replace them with better switches. Video that shows hot to fix the existing switches when there is a double click issue. [ame] [/ame] The issue will return in time though, probably because the wrong alloy is used for those cheaper switches.
