scotsue
Will Commander Pro settings be active even though Link isn't running? Thank you for any help :)
c-attack
It depends on your control variable. Most settings can be saved and will continue to run as set, but there are some exceptions. LL fans need Link active or it will be rainbows all day and night. Also, fans and LEDs cannot respond to reactive variables if the program is not running to control it. An example of this is CPU temperature. The case LED/Fans will not change if Link is not there to interpret the data. A Link capable cooler can still control its fans and LED via coolant temp (Hxxx Temp Group) without Link running. You can control fan speeds via the C-Pro's temp probes without Link running. I find that one to be particularly useful.

If your fan curves are set to temp probe (or are fixed RPM/percentage) and depending on your RGB lighting setup, yes, you can use a Commander PRO w/o CL4 running.
