vorpal
Title says it all, icue always sits on top of my monitoring, with 175mb ram usage and ~2-4% cpu utilization CONSTANTLY, which when combined with the corsair service, can go even higher! Question is, why? I have a k70 RGB and a void pro RGB (sitting there doing nothing mind you). That's all, why can't icue leave my CPU alone like say, I don't know, logitech g-hub (25mb, zero CPU utilization unless used). And if this is not normal behavior, by all means, enlighten me. p.s. I am tired of reinstalling the program, so don't suggest that, what I got is the very latest version of iCue on a brand new PC, everything on default. LeDoyen
They are aware of the request, regarding an iCUE lite, but i don't know if it's in the works. That said they started working on lowering the CPU usage. It's all in this big thread : https://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=189562 Check the 2 or 3 last pages. vorpal
Thanks for the reply! I keep being disappointed by corsair lately, and the iCue situation has been going on for years, I will give them until the end of the year -- then I'm just selling the keyboard & headphones and call it a day. This is silly.
LeDoyen
I did the same but last year, resold all my Corsair gear except the PSU since i can read the sensors on HWinfo. Seems you could be more lucky as the pleas have been heard :)
