  1. ^ This is what I thought until the moment before I read the comment below: At that point I thought "okay, since it's a jackpot, let's try it". I updated the firmware, and 4 out of 10 fans had the RGBs off. Fortunately before uninstalling I tried re-indicating iCue what position each fan was put in (after the update they were in the wrong position), but even so 4 fans remained off. Then I had the idea to try all the iCue themes I usually use, and I noticed one thing: all the themes created manually by me, i mean where I specified led by led what color it should emit, had the problem; on the other hand, the themes where the color was set globally on any iCue device (e.g. lighting link rainbow, or a global static color) worked perfectly! From there I thought the problem was simply that iCue no longer knew which led actually matched the one I had indicated in the various manually created themes. All I had to do was simply re-adapt the led colorings from scratch, fortunately having as a cue (lol!) the fans that still worked from which to copy, and I solved everything. I don't know if this problem is also common to others who said they were seeing the fans off or if it is some other kind of problem, you can try what I said above.
  2. I did not find any documents inside the box containing the fan, in any case I resolved via chat, they told me they sent the two correct fans. I thank everyone here!
  3. Thank god I read this thread before I did the upgrade, I guess I'll skip it !
  4. What should i check on it? I've found my RMA code printed on it
  5. I did it, thanks for help. Of course i did, i couldn't start a RMA service without providing the serial numbers, anyway they told me they needed the broken fans serial numbers only, so just two out of three.
  6. Hi all, I made my new build with Corsair Link system but two out of three radiator fans broke after one month of life. I started the advanced RMA procedure as you recommended here on Reddit, and Corsair accepted it. Except, that instead of receiving 2x QX120, I received 1x QX140. I pointed out the error to Corsair, and they responded like this: "Dear customer, We have received notification from our shipping carrier that your replacement package has been delivered at your address. Thank you for being a Corsair customer! Kind regards, Corsair Customer Service" What should I do? Besides being furious?
  7. Omg, didn't know it was an option. It's exactly what i needed! Thank you so much!
  8. Hi all, I made my build using the new Corsair Link system, specifically 7x QX120 + iCUE Link H150i RGB. About a week ago, all of a sudden, one of the QXs mounted on the radiator started making a very loud noise, and looking at it you could see that it seemed to shake while spinning, as if its axis was not perfectly centered and it also looked slowed down compared to the rpm number i had on screen. I set it to the lowest possible speed (silent profile) which should be 0 rpm and the problem was "solved" temporarily. Today, a second fan, communicating with the problematic one, started doing the same thing, it is still another radiator fan. What should I do? Please don't tell me I have to send back the whole radiator because that for me would mean not to be able to use the pc, and I really need it to work every night and day.
  9. I recently learned that this keyboard appears not to be factory defective, but it just natively has a horrible sound, as confirmed by a Corsair moderator. Given my huge disappointment after spending a lot of money to purchase it, I would like to ask you, would it make sense to void the warranty and try to fix the problem by DIY? Pressing some buttons makes an internal sound echo noise. Also, by tapping lightly on some portions of the keyboard, there is an internal tremor that seems to be that of metal springs vibrating intensely, thus a very annoying mosquito sound. You can hear first sound here: https://packaged-media.redd.it/yxvr88dtupnc1/pb/m2-res_854p.mp4?m=DASHPlaylist.mpd&v=1&e=1710212400&s=ab8a0b83f189bc2319f64b68a4690a2730188222#t=0 And second one here: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/xHhLEy51WTA Do you think adding some PE foam sheets to the back of the pcb (between the pbc and the back plastic) would make sense? I would like to avoid removing and possibly breaking my opx switches. And what can you tell me about the tape mod and orings mod? Thank you.
  10. This problem has taken care of itself. Day after day, the fans that seemed to be broken before slowly started to stay on (rgb) for longer and longer, until, after about 3 days, they recovered completely. A matter of capacitors, maybe?
  11. You may need to turn up the volume to hear the sound I'm talking about, which is a metallic rumble that you can hear coming from the keyboard's case whenever a key is pressed. I am very disappointed, after spending so much money, my old K70 from the previous generation did not have these problems. It sounds like the noise of a spring, however, which is amplified by the reverberation inside the keyboard. Can i link the reddit topic where i uploaded the video or is thast against the rules?
  12. Today the LL120 fans started turning RED randomly. What does this mean?
  13. Hi, I am not whether to post here or in the "iCUE Software Troubleshooting" section, if so please ask the mods to move the thread to the other section. I was using my pc normally when there was a power outage due to overload, and after turning the power back on from the breaker and then also the pc, I noticed that all the Corsair rgb in my case no longer turned on. Sometimes, immediately after logging into windows, they manage to turn on for a couple of seconds or minutes and then shut down for good, and Windows makes the sound of usb peripheral connected and disconnected, numerous times. Corsair peripherals that still work perfectly today: K70 LUX RGB keyboard Virtuoso XT + Virtuoso XT Wireless Receiver MM700 RGB Mousepad LS100 Starter Kit ASUS GPU's RGBs - with ASUS Plugin HX850i (has not RGBs anyway so...) Instead the ones that no longer work properly: iCUE H150i ELITE CAPELLIX XT (Waterpump's RGBs) QL120 Fans (x6) LL120 Fans (x4) The controllers I have connected are: Lightning Node Pro (nothing connected to at the moment) Lightning Node Core (to which the x6 QL120 fans are connected) CORSAIR iCUE Commander CORE (to which the x4 LL120 fans are connected). If I remember correctly, the controllers are connected to a USB hub (the famous NZXT) which then connects to the motherboard USB internal header. It is clear that the only peripherals that can no longer turn on their RGBs are those connected to RGB controllers via the internal USB port, except for the Lightning Node Pro. The Lightning Node Pro, in fact, is the only controller I can see on iCue after the RGBs turn off when I turn on Windows, the others are not. I have read online two possible solutions to this problem, although I am of course open to other possibilities, which of the two options do you think might be safe to try? Disconnect and re-connect the internal USB connector leading to the motherboard usb header WHILE the pc is turned on; Press a little button contained inside the controllers, one person here on the forum solved it this way, but I don't know what exactly it does. Thank you for your attention!
  14. Any news about this? I am 100% sure that i have been able to change the picture of my asus motherboard like two or three years ago, but now i've tried again with my new Asus GPU and as @Darkos said it remains empty. 😞
  15. I am really sorry for necroposting, but this is the only one topic i found on the web about this problem. I still have this problem after two years and it is REALLY annoying, could you please take a look at it?
  16. Hi man, can i ask you why have you disabled SMSBus Detection (i can only find "Enable SMBus access" but nothing about drivers)? I am curious about this because since i installed both iCue and Argus Monitor i have some windows freeze, like 1 or two per month, but i really love both softwares and i would like to keep them if possible to solve my problem. Sometimes freezes occur on startup (while iCue is trying to start), or when i update one of the two software, or when i close and reopen again one of them. Thanks in advice.
