I suppose this is the end of the line for me. I will be returning the headset tomorrow. I'm very sad to say this since I really love the comfort of the headset. I really wanted to pursue this product since It would have been the ideal headset. I would like to thank the community for giving out some tips for a work around such as Equalizer APO, but this also enhances the background noise so it was just a temporary solution. Since Corsair haven't had any fixes even at this point in time I'm really disappointed. To anyone who is buying this headset if you have a good external microphone and is looking for a comfortable headset WITHOUT using the built in microphone, you can go for this. BUT to those who relies on the BEST QUALITY mic this headset offers DONT even consider buying this. Side note: No hate on the brand just on this specific product. Edit: grammar corrections

Hi @Corsair Albert, Hoping to get some update in regards to any fixes or updates? If you are currently working on it will it be possible to at least get some ETA?

Hi @Corsair Albert, I really love the comfort and sound of the headset that's why I'm hesitant to return the product whilst hoping to get a fix for the mic. I have been checking the thread everyday hoping for an update. May I ask if there is already an update on a fix for this? Thanks! (edit)

I am experiencing Hi @Corsair Albert, is there an update on the investigation? I am also experiencing the same problem for the mic output and have tried the various solutions here. I also agree that the "temporary fix" which is using "Equalizer APO is not the answer". I am checking this daily for updates so I'm hoping there is a fix for this. Thank you.
