  1. Yeah kinda worrying that stuff like this can even happen especially from a big company. Gonna return it, but have about a month todo it. Will probably then purchase the elite instead, when I bought the platinum it was significantly cheaper than any other cooler, but said new so had no worry about having a used/swapped item.
  2. Will do this tomorrow, to late in the night right now. All they offered to me is a return, which I might take. Worst experience I've ever had with Amazon lol. Edit: Also the picture of the rgb fans are the one I bought myself, didnt come with the case.
  3. That's kinda annoying, guess I'll purchase this stuff off a different website from now on. Will return it, as you have said this, I've noticed the fans aren't the same as my current rgb fans, the circular inner section of the fans is thinner, guessing thats where the lights come from my current fans. Other than that they practically identical. Don't understand why the rgb on the cooler does not work though via icue. These are the fans that came with the cooler: These are the rgb fans that came with the corsair case: As I've just noticed due to the above post, the inner fans on the first image are thinner than the second, which I'm guessing are real rgb fans, when the first, aren't at all...
  4. No, no mini-usb at all, this was advertised as new aswell so unsure what to do. Box seemed unsealed. THe only wire from the fans, is a power cable, I know what they look like when they are can be plugged into the controler etc. And there are only 2 wires from the cooler, 1x3 which is plugged into the cpu fan plug, and 1xsata, which is obviously plugged into a sata cable. Edit: There is no mini usb connection on the cooler. Triple checked, no connections at all, only 2 wires which I stated above, and then obviously 2 wires to the radiator for cooling. Even still, surely the cooler would work via iCUE? https://i.imgur.com/v1AwA4q.jpg
  5. Corsair Hydro 100i RGB Platinum, Hydro Series, 240 mm Radiator. Recently bought off from Amazon, literally got it and installed yesterday (1:30am currently, installed it at about 9pm-10pm). Installed the cooler to best of my knownledege, though, no manual or installation guide came with the purchase. The cooler LED works fine, but not detected by iCUE so unable to change rgb. The radiator fans that camewith the purchase only had one wire, which is to power the the fans. They, work fine, spin and everything, however no LED or RGB etc on the fans, at all which is frustrating. The only cables that I had were 2x4 pins fan cables, coming from the fans, 1x3 pin which is plugged into the cpu fan which to the best of my knowledge is only for fan speed and temps as it is only a 3 pin a singular wire coming from the cooler. Then a sata cable which comes from the cooler and plugged into a SATA using a corsair powersupply, unsure what model but is about 700w-800w. Why is the fan LEDs not working, why does it not come with any rgb hub wires, and why does my cooler not come up on my iCUE. I'm a huge corsair fan, always have been, pretty much all of my setup except cpu and gpu is corsair.
