v4.33
Still doesn't work.
Also, clicking on the "Lighting Library" crashes ICue.
-
I'm confirming after a week. the hiccups are gone. The solution was to force CPU affinity to all cores to iCUE and Corsair service.
-
Hi. I just checked. Brightness is at full value.
I can manually set hardware lighting when iCUE is not loaded. (Although not optimal, no layers)
As soon as I open iCUE and go to the "hardware lighting" section, all the LEDs go off...and stay off if I close iCUE again so I need to set it manually again.
It is simply broken.
-
Hmmm....
Are you guys using Process Lasso?
I usually have iCUE in the lower CCD in my 5900X. I decided to force CPU affinity to all my cores.
I did that two days ago and the hiccups were gone.

I just tried closing iCUE and leaving the service running and the hiccups came back.
It is definitely caused by the Corsair Service.

Thanks for the info, I was aware of that thread but the title was more about crashing. I went and read some of the pages and saw people reporting the exact same issue I have.
Posted there too.
Puffff!........man.........Corsair, please do something about this...... 😞

For the last year or more I have periodic mini hiccups that freeze the system for a split second. No crashes.
I disabled iCUE and the Corsair service and the hiccups are gone. I'm 100% sure it has to do with them because I tried everything one by one over through all this time.
X570E latest 4408 BIOS. Tested with a hardware TPU too.
5900X: Virtualization disabled, Stock auto PBO, just a mild -15 on Curve Optimizer, tested at stock too.
64GB 3600 RAM (stock DOCP)
3090 and 4090 (I'm sure is not the video drivers or GPU related)
Multiple SSDs
4 Monitors
Myriad of USB devices (which never had any issue)
Corsair devices:
H115i Pro
LNP
5 RGB 140mm fans
4 Strips.
K100 (bought last month, the issue has nothing to do with it)
Win 11
It is a shame I need to stop using iCUE if I wanna get rid of that issue because my RGB profiles are quite nice and also my K100 basically depends on it for extra hardware functions I do use in a daily basis.

Hardware lighting works well with all my other Corsair devices (LNPro, H115i Pro)
But with my K100. It doesn't matter what I set (a static color for example) and even if all LEDs are selected, the keyboard LEDs are all off.
-
Ok.
I have forwarded the information to support. Let's see.
In the meantime, it would be very helpful if more people reports about this here (and to the support team)
-
Is Corsair aware of this?
-
Anyone else?
Once in a while, say, every 5 or 10min, the system has a short hiccup (small system wide hang) and the RGB lighting sequence restarts. It is quite noticeable.
I checked in the Event Editor and there's no warning or message indicating the culprit.
To me, It seems like the Corsair service is causing this.
I closed iCue and stopped the service and the hiccups stopped happening so I'm pretty sure is related to either of them.
This has been happening for the last two years, it was hard to pinpoint.

K100 hardware lighting is broken.

New iCUE v4.31.168
Still hardware lighting on my K100 is not working. All LEDs are turned off in that tab no matter what I try.
Clicking on the library still crashes iCUE.
-
Hi fellas.
I just got a K100 and have the same problem. Hardware lighting does nothing. Basically keeps the keyboard with no lights no matter what I do.
I'm sure is an iCUE issue as my system is very well maintained and I'm sure no other RGB software (driver, program or service) is running at the same time.
It is a bug in iCUE I believe. Everything else works just fine in the K100 section of the program, as well as my other iCUE compatible (all corsair) peripherals.

Recently the last update deleted all my fan profiles.
I wasn't aware of that and after some days I realized the idle/max temps in my 5900X were unusually high. 55c+/90c+
For a moment I thought I needed to repaste but upon close inspection in iCUE I saw all my fan profiles were gone and replaced with "Quiet" also the pump profile was set also to "Quiet" even if the selected profile was Balanced.
So, check your profiles after an update. You don't wanna have unusually high temps because of that.
Again...bravo Corsair for hiring incompetent coders.

h115i Pro with 4 fans (push pull)
Request:
Can you please add a way to use GPU temps to control AIO fan curve additionally to CPU? (As Argus monitor does)
Or at least allow one channel to use GPU temps and the other channel to use CPU temps?
So far, if you change the sensor in one curve it will affect the sensor on the other curve as well. (I have separate curves for my push pull config)

Hi 🙂
No Armoury Crate installed here. No RGB software/service other than iCUE running at the same time.
HWInfo and Argus Monitor have both SMBus detection/drives disabled.
I'm 100% positive my system hasn't changed and iCUE never ever did that prior to the last two versions.
Would it help if I give you a nfo file? Or do a system trace while loading iCUE?
-
The last version and this one, both take a long time to load. All versions prior to these last two loaded fine.
I can see iCUE.exe in the taskmanager but it takes about 3 minutes to show on screen and the LEDs to respond.
I also tried with all corsair services running (I usually disabled the not needed ones) and it didn't help.

This doesn't happen to me, I have the RM1000i, and it stays at multi rail, i'm on the latest iCUE, but just tried with the .223 and it stays at multi there too.
Here if I set it to multi-rail and close that dialog then open it again, it stays in single-rail. As if the dialog didn't actually do anything.
-
RM1000i always goes back to "Single Rail" even if set to "Multirail" (which I think is the default config)

CORSAIR iCUE v4.13.226 update.
Again same thing, the installer will freeze. The workaround is to stop the Corsair service just when the MSI installer pops up.
- Still the dashboard displays all the system by default...no way to disable it unless you delete the CPUId files.
Corsair, are you listening?

OMG, Thank you!
Finally!! HW lighting works.
Took me a good hour and a half to transfer all Lighting FX from my old profiles to the new fresh ones.
Corsair, please fix that.
