  1. Here if I set it to multi-rail and close that dialog then open it again, it stays in single-rail. As if the dialog didn't actually do anything.
  2. RM1000i always goes back to "Single Rail" even if set to "Multirail" (which I think is the default config)
  3. CORSAIR iCUE v4.13.226 update. Again same thing, the installer will freeze. The workaround is to stop the Corsair service just when the MSI installer pops up. - Still the dashboard displays all the system by default...no way to disable it unless you delete the CPUId files. Corsair, are you listening?
  4. Also, the monitoring items in home keep scrambling all the time.
  5. Updated to 4.13 Same thing, the auto updater stops and you need to disable the services manually then use the installer. Still no way to disable system info unless you manually delete the required files. Still a MSI service even tho I have no MSI device. Should I even care to comment these things? I think is falling on deaf ears.
  6. Another update. Again won't install unless I stop the services manually and use the installer. In home, the sensors and devices I have displayed are still scrambled every single time. Still no ability to disable stuff we don't need such as: The MSI service, tell me why we need such thing on PC's without any MSI device? No ability to disable system information / monitoring. I can force disable all those manually and I've gotten accustomed to that....it seems it is what it is and Corsair cannot care less about user feedback.
  7. iCUE is frequently asking this, although I have no custom Corsair loop. Only a h115i Pro, a bunch of fans, a LNP and a RM1000i I have no thermal probe besides the one inbuilt in my AIO.
  8. Another update, another failed installation. I had to disable the services again and use the external installer to be able to upgrade.
  9. Moving from V3 to V4 I installed V4 thinking it will overwrite V3 which wasn't the case, later on I just uninstalled everything and installed V4. Later at the first V4 update froze in the same way, I solved it by using an installer. This time is the same, ever since I moved to V4 I'm not able to update from within the app. EDIT: Found that you guys updated the installed here: https://www.corsair.com/ww/en/downloads Downloaded it, ran it and is hanging as well. (see image) EDIT: Now I remember what solved it. Seems the installer cannot stop the Services properly. I had to manually stop them (Corsair and Corsair LLA) to be able to update. I have no idea how non tech savvy people could circumvent these issues. Update went fine now. But I have to mention for the Nth time again that we don't want HWmonitor in the dashboard (make it optional) are you guys doing something about it?
  10. New update 4.10 available. Like the previous update it hangs mid way with high CPU usage in two cores. The best thing is that there is no installer available online. Good job :) EDIT: I also found this folder in "C:\Users\xxxxx\AppData\Corsair" (I replaced my username with xxxx) Notice how that folder is not in the ...\AppData\Local or Roaming...just on the Appdata root folder which is clearly an oversight.
  11. Here is a suggestion to the developer team. Please make the taskbar icon vectorial so it can resize well if you change monitor resolution. Since is a bitmap right now, if you switch resolutions many times, the icon blurs out.
  12. Believe me. So far v4 is not a real upgrade. I didn't go back to v3 since I encountered no major problems and my lighting setup needs no more tweak. v4 is so far a downgrade. I know it will be better later but there's no need to jump to it now.
  13. I can only give you mi experience with my h115i Pro and my remarks for a next gen AIO. At its "quiet" mode, the pump goes at 1100RPM That turns out to be absolutely insufficient for a modern AMD CPU even while using Liquid Metal. The problem with 1100RPM is that the water doesn't flow fast enough so the coolant gets hotter with CPU spikes and different loads ranging from 10% to 100% At 100% usage the CPU temp shuts way too high way too fast. My conclusion: At least with this pump design, 1100RPM is absolutely and irrevocably useless, hence Corsair made the new "Silent" to be 2200RPM. Perhaps your PC is open, or too close, or the pump in the new capellix is noisier. My h115i Pro pump in "balanced" mode (2100RPM) is certainly very quiet so is almost inaudible at circa 2m from my H500M PC. At full speed I can say is not pleasant. Also not needed cause the temp difference between balance and extreme is 2c during full load. What we need for the next gen AIO is finally (please!) a powerful pump that has a bigger/beefier impeller that rotates slower, generating less whine, while providing 2X or 3X the flow rate. I would even pay USD250 for a corsair AIO with these characteristics + a nice screen with 8MB of video memory (gif) on the block (again, please!) You could make a USD180 variant that contains no fans or RGB controller for those who already have fancy LL or QL corsair fans. (sucks to upgrade AIO and pay for new fans you will never use)
  14. Today an update came in. It is already 20min stuck in the "updating" screen. After 30min the update is not responsive. I clicked on the update window, windows inform is unresponsive, closed it. Opened iCue4 and started normally. Shows there is an update 4.9.350 (so nothing got installed)...gonna try again. EDIT: Same thing. Tried once more. After an hour the installer is still unresponsive. BTW: The sensors I placed here in Home keep moving around to different orders. Also my devices change order each time I open iCUE: EDIT2: Manually installing the latest iCUE resulted in the same problem. Basically the installer halts at 35% progress. It keeps using CPU for some reason until you manually close it. EDIT3: Manually stopping all corsair services THEN manually installing worked.
  15. UI wise I agree. Setting up nodes and colors for RGB has gotten way inferior. No rulers, little space, color picker ALWAYS in the way. No layer soloing. The old version layout was way better.
  16. Tried the ASUS plugin: - I could control board's lights without any problem. - ASUS Aura takes control of my G.Skilll RAM but cannot see or control its LED's in iCUE (that would be nice!). Installing ASUS Aura and enabling the plugin just broke any way to control my RAM using the G.Skilll app, only from Aura creator and it was crap. In order to backpedal to be able to use my G.Skilll app these are the steps I tried: 1- Stop iCUE/Service, Disabling RAM in Aura Creator, close aura creator, restart iCUE/Service, later on cold reboot so LED's go to default. Still RAM is being controlled by ASUS Aura and cannot use the G.Skilll app. 2- Reinstalling the Gksill software. cold reboot, nothing. 3- Uninstalling ASUS's stuff. After uninstalling the plugin was still working. Turns out ASUS's uninstaller is garbage and left all services installed and running. 4- Manually removing all ASUS software installed all over the place + services. Disabling SDK and ASUS plugin from iCUE. 5- Cold reboot. 6- Finally could use my G.Skilll software agian. Back to square 1. It is what it is. I would say ASUS's Aura is so broken is ridiculous. I don't think any of the described problems were related to iCUE, which actually worked fine.
  17. Guys. Check your pump speed. v4 installation / migration resets your fan/pump settings. My fans were in "quiet" mode, my custom curve was deleted. My pump was in " " (blank) mode, and its speed was set to quiet (1100RPM) which can be dangerous at full loads.
  18. +1 vote. Absolutely. I thought that was it with v4 but they made it even worse now. Is like they do it on purpose. For now you can stop the corsair services and iCUE and delete these files, then start iCUE.
  19. Now when I reboot, as soon as iCUE opens it freezes itself (RGB LEDs) and Windows's UI becomes unresponsive. Happened two times in a row. ASUS X570E / AMD 5900X / 64GB RAM / LNP / 3 x LQ140 / 4 x normal Strips / RM1000i / 3090 GPU I disabled it from autostart in Safe Mode and I could boot fine. After the system fully booted I could open iCUE again fine. So v4 needs some fixing. And fast.
  20. Also the area to sequence nodes is not as accurate as the old one. I suppose they're still working on it, honestly it looks half finished.
