  1. - Music visualizer, when watching youtube videos before my purchased I saw so many I thought it was with the corsair software, but it seems to be a different program... I'd like to see it in CUE!

The visualizer works only if you are using a Corsair headset (like the VOID) as audio output.

  2. So with games starting to have support for CUE, what does that mean exactly? Does this go beyond key bindings? Will games effect Corsair keyboards and mice through CUE? I am thinking that someone would need to program a profile or something to make this happen?

It means that the keyboards will react to specific ingame events, for example when a bomb goes off in the game the keyboard might blink. Or a key assigned to a skill with a cooldown timer goes black and gets its color back once you can use again the skill.

The game profile is basically coded in the game itself by the developers. Just lighting effects though, no remaps.

  3. Will we be getting features like Razer? In STO if I play a Klingon my mouse automatically turn orangish, light green for Romulan, and blue for Federation. Mouse turns red when in combat. It's a razer naga. Just bought the corsair strafe yesterday with the hopes there would be similar features but I haven't been able to find much yet.. Keep the strafe, or buy the Razer blackwidow rgb???

That is not the SDK itself, but rather the game developers that added support for it.

For example Blizzard recently added Corsair SDK support for Diablo 3, but unless the game developers themselves support it Corsair can do nothing apart from providing the SDK.

  4. I should have been more clear.

In your new profile, Create a new action and then click the Spanner/Screwdriver and see whether or not the checkbox for the action is available.

    @Inheritance

The hardware/software profile radio buttons will not be seen for devices that do not support hardware playback. E.g. Creating a new profile with the K95 RGB selected will not have the option. But if it's the Scimitar RGB PRO or K95 Platinum, The option should be present.

It was supported in my previous version of CUE for my K95 and worked fine.

Yeah, unless you have an hardware playback device connected (K95P or Scimitar PRO) the hardware profile option won't appear and it defaults to software profile. Based on your screenshot you have a "normal" K95 RGB and the "normal" Scimitar RGB, neither supports hardware playback.

  5. Battery level in system icon tray. Could make it a lot easier to see how charged my wireless Void RGB is if it was just an icon in the icon tray or whatever it's called next to the clock in Windows. Right now its quite a few clicks to get to what should be easy to find. Even if it was under the right click menu on the CUE icon it would be an improvement.

I second this! Even just it being a tooltip when you are hover the CUE icon.

  6. That's a shame, Is there a list somewhere with the names of games that are CUE enabled ?

So far I've seen Diablo 3, GTAV and Homefront The Revolution.

I think I saw someone making a thread to list all supported games. Not sure where it ended up going tough, I don't see it in the sticky ones at the top at least...

  7. With the new lighting for games i.e Diablo 3, GTAV, It would be pretty cool if we could have a list of the games this lighting feature is compatible with and also change the colour and speed of these effects.

The profile is implemented directly in the game through the CUE SDK by the developers (example Diablo 3 profile was implemented by Blizzard), there is no way to be able to adjust them in CUE.

  8. Issue disappeared by connecting mouse to usb port on the keyboard.

However the issue persists when connecting to another usb port.

Maybe it's related to usb 3.0 interferences ?

Could be, depending on the chipset the usb ports are connected to it could cause issues. For example asmedia usb ports are quite troublesome.

  9. Hi,

I was about to buy K70 LUX RGB brown mx keyboard and then I found this thread. Is this issue wide spread? Are there any fixes that works for long term, or should I just wait until this issue will be resolved? This keyboard is just too expensive to have this type of issue.

No, it is not a widespread issue. On forums like this one you'll find mostly only peoples that post about issues. You will rarely find someone that posts to say everything is okay (and those would be the majority if they did post).

In the rare chance you have this issue you can always RMA the keyboard and get it exchanged. I've had a K70 RGB and Strafe RGB for 2 years and never had an issue like this for example (both are brown switches too actually).

  10. Just one thing right now. CUE 2 doesn't seem to recognize Battlefleet Gothic: Armada. If it's added as a profile for the M65 RGB mouse, the profile is not activated when the game is launched. I hope BFGA can be added to the supported games.

    Thanks.

Maybe the game has a launcher exe and the main game uses a different one? There are some games that do that.

  11. The problem is not with CUE, but the with motherboard instead. Do you have a USB 3.0 port? If so try using that instead of 2xUSB 2.0.

I also recall that there should be a setting you can try switching off in the BIOS to make it faster, I think it is called LEGACY USB or something similar (depends on the motherboard). Hopefully someone with the same issue can share here what he changed.

  12. The Manual was available in the downloads area before, my guess is that the removed it from there when they released CUE 2.x in order to replace it with a new one (which is not yet out though).

A CUE 2.x download with a 1.x manual would indeed be confusing for new users downloading the latest version.

  13. These keyboards are excellent and you can do a lot with macros and color cues and such. Don't give up...Some clues can be found here in this .pdf manual for CUE v1. (So far there's no manual for CUE v2, the version we're now using.)

    http://www.pdf-manuals.com/corsair-k95-rgb-mechanical-gaming-keyboard-ch-9000062-na-305535-manual

No need to get it from a 3rd party site, the CUE 1 manual is still available in the product page under the FAQ & SUPPORT tab. Here's a direct link to it: http://softwaredownloads.corsair.com/Files/Gaming-Keyboards/Corsair-Gaming-RGB-Keyboards-Software-User-Manual.pdf

  14. Anyone know of software that causes issues with the CUE software? If I close cue my keyboard works great sans custom lighting. With cue running the keyboard locks up. I work in IT but I don't have time to start tearing it down to test.

Open the task manager and look at it, do you have any programs that are using a lot of CPU? CUE needs to keep sending data through the USB port to the keyboard in order for lighting effects to keep working. If your computer is using the CPU intensively for other tasks the lighting effect might look laggy/locked up.
