FW 5.03 vs. 1.33: sleep/hibernate lockup

Well, I just tried the 5.03 firmware upgrade on my Force 3 240GB on my desktop. After trying it, I found that it locks up after coming back from either a sleep or hibernate event. I didn't have that problem with the 1.33 firmware, so I'm back on that version now. So awaiting 5.04+ firmware or whatever, hopefully this will be fixed.

Latest BIOS and drivers?

Have you tried a different SATA data cable and motherboard port?

Latest motherboard BIOS? Yes, I'm pretty sure it is. I didn't check this time, but I checked a few months back, there hasn't been an update in over a year for my BIOS.

As for drivers? There's way too many to check for, I'm using the latest Microsoft AHCI drivers though. Again, they really haven't been upgraded in awhile.

As for trying different SATA cables and ports, why should I? They were working just fine under Firmware 1.33. I'm back to 1.33 and so they're working again just fine again. :dunno:

You can't downgrade from latest to oldest firmware :bomb:

:ummmm: You're quite mistaken. You can, and I have. Here's a screen shot of my current firmware version:
