RoccoD
Hi folks, I've had my ax1200 for a few weeks now without any problems. I just picked up an APC BX1300G ups today and after setting everything up I wanted to try it out with the backup power supply. As soon as the power is switched off, the UPS and the AX1200 start making a crazy loud buzzing sound, like overhead power lines. The sound is coming from both at the same time and its identical in sound. now is this normal when using a UPS? and will it damagae my PSU and should I have the PSU or UPS replaced? peanutz94
It may be because of the wave type that your UPS supplies . It is a stepped aproximation to a sine wave. Corsair suggest a Pure Sine Wave UPS with their PSU's. We have seen this before and it was because of the wrong type of UPS

Is it possible I've caused damage on my PSU already when switched over for a short time on the UPS?
